So if your birthday is in the the first months of the year you will need to check further.

Welcome to our New Members and the Year of the Tiger

Welcome back everyone. It is always such fun to see everyone again, catch up on everyone's holiday tales and settle back into our Tai Chi routines. A special welcome from the Master Sigung Charles, Mary and myself to all the new members of the Golden Lion family. We wish you a long and happy career with us.
February 14th is the start of the Year of the Tiger. The Tiger is the third sign in the Chinese Zodiac cycle, and it is a sign of bravery. This courageous and fiery fighter is admired by the ancient Chinese as the sign that keeps away the three main tragedies of a household. These are fire, thieves and ghosts. It is a favourite sign of chinese martial art fighters and in our Tai Chi routines we regularly find moves like "Beat the Tiger", "Mount the Tiger and Stand on One Leg", and "Bend the Bow to Shoot the Tiger".
Curious about the Chinese Zodiac? Check it out on the net - it's fun and amusing but of course it is not meant to take the place of your own good sense.

Wishing you and your family a year of health and prosperity!
