Tai Chi in the Park

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful weather! It was glorious. We all met at the Drouin Sound Shell at around 10:30ish and enjoyed a cupper and muffin. After welcoming Si Jie Lynne Byrne from Trafalgar and Si Jie Anja Weise from Melbourne we did the followed the usual lesson format starting with warm ups. It felt marvelous doing the Beijing 24 outside breathing the good country air. Then we split into groups Si Jie Lynne took a group to do the Beijing 24 in the rotunda surrounded by roses. Si Jie Anja took the International 42 group and I took the Yang 40 group. How time flies when you are having a really good time!We finished with everyone doing the Dao Yin set together and them enjoyed a demonstration of the 32 Sword by Anita Chudleigh, Brad Jarvis and Brian Kilner. After a picnic lunch a group of us walked the Twin Towns Trail and enjoyed the wonderful views of the Baw Baw ranges.
Macchu Picchu Trip Meeting Result
At the meeting today Sigung Charles gave a group of enthusiastic travelers a detailed run down of the planned trip. Although it seems to be more expensive than going to China people were still keen to go. Sigung is going to look into it further and will keep us posted.

An Invitation to do Tai Chi at Macchu Picchu!
SiGung Charles has had a terrific idea .... read on.In our trips to China over the years, we have seen some spectacular sights and performed our martial arts in some special places … This year we thought we would continue this theme, but in a different country. Most people see the Inca city of Machu Picchu as being one of the most spectacular and uplifting sites in the world. We plan to make this awe-inspiring place the focus of a tour to South America. You've all seen pictures of this great ancient city set amongst the peaks of the Andes … Can you imagine yourself doing Tai Chi or Kung Fu while overlooking this sight, or just relaxing and absorbing the atmosphere? Other exciting experiences would include a cruise on Lake Titicaca, the highest lake in the world, and lots more.
Does this wet your appetite? If you would like to hear more, we are having an information day on Saturday, March 28th 3.00pm, at our Berwick Centre. Do come along and listen to our ideas for this exciting trip. If you are able to make it to the Information Day please email me of your intention.
Hoping to see you on the 28th,
Si Gung Charles
